Blue Star Line of Australia has a project to build a replica of an Olympic Class liner and name her Titanic 2. Industrialist, professor and politician Clive Palmer is driving and funding the new ship from his own deep pockets.
There is an extended team of maritime players in place to make it happen. Will it be completed and launched? Is the chosen shipyard up to the construction task? Is it wise to name a new ship after a plunger like the Titanic? Only time will tell.
